My Work

Miami Tennis Pro is all about paying forward our knowledge and experience to spread the beauty of tennis throughout our community. I believe I learned from one of the greatest tennis minds in Don Petrine Jr. From the age of 9 he taught me everything from the proper grips to hold to stroke production and on-court strategy. I truly enjoy working with boys or girls, men or women of any ages. I appreciate the opportunity to meet a beginner in tennis where I can teach you the basics and enlighten you on the wonders of tennis. I also love working with intermediate level players who might be striving to make their school team or simply improve their game to play tournaments and see what they can accomplish throughout their development. As much as any level I love working with elite tennis players who dedicate their time to learning what it takes to be great in tennis and applying that commitment on a daily basis. I specialize in swing technique, court sense, mental strategy, court positioning, and elite junior competitive tennis. I also have years of expertise in efficient movement, optimal conditioning, and coaching adult tennis. I coached at Royal Palm Tennis Club under Don Petrine Jr. for years, then under director Eric Hechtman. I coached with Julie Steven at Ransom Everglades Upper School in Coconut Grove for years, then with Tennis 305, run by Liz Levinson, also for a couple years. Most recently, I worked with Chow Tennis Academy alongside Kevin Chow, Andre Chow, and other great professionals. I learned a great amount working alongside each of these coaches and am grateful for my time spent with them as they have been a pleasure to work with. Currently, I'm the assistant tennis professional at Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Fl.
